The LIFETREND Alta SCS-ALTA01 is a 2-in-1 hot and cold plunge tub designed for at-home use. This is a freestanding immersion tub that cools water to 37°F and heats it to 102°F using a Balboa chiller system, with a 61-gallon capacity and a galvanized steel frame. It is intended for adults who want a single unit that covers both cold and warm water immersion without separate equipment.
Why This Hot and Cold Plunge Tub
Built for dual-temperature use — a single Balboa chiller unit handles both cooling (down to 37°F) and heating (up to 102°F), eliminating the need for two separate tubs.
Built for consistent temperature control — the Balboa chiller system maintains set temperatures rather than relying on ice or passive cooling.
Built for home installation — 110V/60Hz plug-in operation; no hardwiring or dedicated high-voltage circuit required. (Verify local electrical requirements before purchase.)
Built for durability — galvanized steel frame construction at 293 lbs dry weight.
